about

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based out of Bishop, California, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I received my Masters degree in Psychology and Counseling, with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California. I worked for Inyo County Mental Health as a psychotherapist for 5 years, counseling children, teens, families, and adults with a wide range of mental health issues. I have been in private practice since 2013.

My undergraduate degree is in Studio Art, from Colorado College, in Colorado Springs. I spent my late teens and twenties as an outdoor educator working for the Colorado and Pacific Crest Outward Bound Schools and the Chadwick Outdoor Education Program in Palos Verdes, California.

I have a deep love for the outdoors and have spent much of my life climbing rocks, moving through mountains, and rafting rivers. I am a long time practicioner of meditation and the wisdom traditions. I believe that living to our full potential is a balance between spirt, relationships, nutrition, and movement. When I am not working, I can be found with my wife, Meghan, and our children, Sloan and Hudson, pursuing chaos and adventure.

As a therapist, you will find that I provide an environment of professionalism, safety, shared humanity, and a non-judgemental, discerning presence. I am committed to supporting your journey back home to yourself, to your innate wisdom and wholeness, and that which stirs you with a sense of aliveness, connection, and meaning.
